We are global sales and sales management consulting company.  Over the past 25+ years we developed a comprehensive set of sales and sales management processes, tools, and metrics (our methodology).  Given the results our clients have achieved (see the bottom of this page), we believe we have proven them to be “best practices.”

From that foundation and after years of development effort, the AdventaceSales Management System™ ( “SMS”) has been deployed on the Salesforce platform, and is available through the Salesforce AppExchange.  It provides Sales Executives, Sales Managers, and Salespeople with the distinct benefits and differentiators outlined below that have resulted in an increase in revenues and reduced cost of sales.

SMS enables sales executives to better drive their sales operation top-down by providing them with future-looking predictive metrics.  At any level of the organization, these metrics allow detection and proactive resolution of problems today that otherwise would impact results tomorrow.

Sales Managers

SMS provides a complete coaching system, including opportunity assessment and management, pipeline balance and management, predictive metrics, and skill development for salespeople.  This enables Sales Managers to help Sellers achieve ongoing metric-based performance improvement.

Salespeople

Sellers win more business and shorten sales cycles by creating custom emails in minutes summarizing key results of sales calls and agreed upon next steps with buyers, enabling them to define, manage, qualify, and control their opportunities.  SMS also generates a key tool, called an Impact Tree™, to help them win B2B buying committee sales.  Sellers want to use SMS!

We implemented Adventace Sales Management System™ because native Salesforce only provides a look through the rear view mirror; it does not provide me a way to tell the effectiveness of my sales team. Salesforce tells me what closed and what is in flight, but not whether we are doing the right things at the right time, making it difficult for me and my team to draw the appropriate conclusions. SMS has really helped with taking subjectivity out of pipeline management, forecasting, and sales management more generally.

It has changed the face of my communications with my regional VP’s because we are better able to proactively identify and deal with sales (management) challenges using metrics rather than opinion to guide our thinking.

We have seen significant global improvement in the metrics that deal with prospecting effectiveness, our ability to call high, and pipeline balance, which in turn has helped our top and bottom lines.

The Adventace Sales Management System™ app has been instrumental in helping me better run my sales operation. In particular, the accurate view I get on key performance metrics and pipelines helps me identify potential problems early and then work with my sales managers to get them fixed before they have a significant impact.

As an example, the use of the A/B Ratio performance metric has helped us identify sales people who are calling too low in an account so that we can coach them on prospecting at a higher level or work with them to improve their ability to negotiate for access to power.

Also, by using the Pipeline Balance Algorithm, we identify not only sales people with imbalances, but specifically what those imbalances are and then work with our sellers to quickly fix them.

Here is the story of Adventace SMS, as told through the awards we’ve won (so far).

Version 1 of SMS was created initially as a private app for and at the behest of TranUnion. At that time the capabilities of the Salesforce AppExchange were rudimentary.  But over time the platform afforded us with significant capabilities and a strong ecosystem of developers, which in turn enabled us to build the sophisticated capabilities we desired as a part of SMS.   The result in Q4 of 2015 was SMS Version 2.  We added predictive metrics, a sophisticated knowledge library capability for sale people, and skill development systems. (Note though that we were far from finished!)

 

As a result, in October of 2015 CIOReview awarded us as a Top 20 Most Promising Salesforce Solution Provider 2015.

Version 2 beta testing commenced in 2016 with Newforma, who reaped significant rewards from their use of SMS.  This development and testing was extended into 2017 so that we could add additional key functions to SMS.  As mentioned above, those functions included:

 

  • The integration of Conga Composer to provide sales people with the ability to easily generate beautiful, professional emails to better define, manage, and control opportunities while differentiating themselves from the competition,
  • The integration of GoJS, which enabled sales people to generate professional Impact Trees™, which are buyer-facing deliverables to help them win complex B2B buying committee sales, and
  • Added Advanced Multi-Currency support, which is necessary for clients whose opportunities may be in any number of currencies.

As a result, we were pleased to have been chosen as a finalist for CIO Applications prestigious Top 25 Salesforce Solution Providers 2017.

In 2017 we were nominated for The Future Now Awards, which celebrates the world’s most innovative companies using Salesforce.
